Sophrology is a science-backed relaxation method developed by neuropsychiatrist Professor Alfonso Caycedo, combining physical and mental exercises to promote health and wellbeing. While still gaining recognition in Poland, Sophrology is widely practised in parts of Europe, particularly in France and Switzerland, where it’s offered to students in schools and even reimbursed by some premium insurance plans.

Just like a physiotherapist helps you recover and strengthen your body with tailored exercises, a Sophrologist works with you to identify specific mental or emotional challenges—such as stress, fear of public speaking, or difficulty sleeping—and recommends targeted exercises to help you overcome them.

Through a unique combination of breathing techniques, visualisations, and gentle movements, Sophrology equips you with practical tools to feel more balanced, focused, and in control. Every journey begins with a consultation, where we’ll talk about what you want to achieve—whether it’s feeling calmer, sleeping better, or preparing for an event.

Step 2: Get Your Personalised Plan

Based on your goal, I’ll guide you through tailored techniques, which include simple breathing exercises, visualisations, and light movements. Together, we will explore which techniques are most helpful to you. 

Step 3: Practise and See Results

You’ll leave each session with practical tools to use in your daily life. The more you practise, the more you’ll see positive, lasting changes.

Hello, I’m Maria, a certified Sophrology practitioner with an Advanced Practitioner Diploma from the Sophrology Academy. I’m passionate about helping people connect with their inner strength and perform at their best.

My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, offering a safe and nurturing space to explore practical tools that bring more balance, resilience, and harmony into your life. Together, we’ll create a personalised plan that aligns with your values and feels authentic to you—building a sense of wellbeing that is not only achievable but sustainable.

As the first and currently only certified Sophrology practitioner in Poland, I’m proud to offer sessions in both Polish and English to suit your needs. 1-1 sessions

Each session lasts up to 1 hour and is fully tailored to your specific needs, meeting you exactly where you are in your journey.

These personalised sessions are designed to help you discover your own unique toolbox of Sophrology techniques, along with guidance on how to apply them seamlessly into your daily life.

I recommend starting with a minimum of 5 sessions to establish a strong foundation and assess your progress. From there, we’ll decide together what would be most helpful moving forward.

Group sessions last up to 75 minutes and are designed to provide a supportive and interactive environment where participants can explore Sophrology together. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences with the group to the extent you feel comfortable.
